Pinning content to boards
Once boards are created, you can pin Looks and dashboards to it to start populating it with thematically related content. You’ll only be able to pin content to boards you’ve created or you have access to edit.
Other users will be able to interact with the pinned content if they have view access to it, but they won’t be able to edit or pin content unless they have Manage Access, Edit access levels. Content is still stored in folders, rather than boards, so adding or removing content from boards doesn’t affect the underlying content (i.e. removing a Look from a board won’t delete it from your Centricity instance).
Any time you pin content to a board, you’ll be listed as a contributor in the board’s information panel.
There are three ways to pin content to a board:
From the Look or dashboard’s gear menu
Pinning from a board
While viewing a board, you have the option to pin content directly:
If the section is empty, select “Pin a Dashboard or Look.” If there is already content pinned to the section, simply click the plus sign (+) icon.
In the resulting pop-up window, select the content you’d like to pin to the board and it will then appear in the chosen section.
Pinning from a folder
While browsing folders, you can pin content to boards:
Select the three-dot menu of your desired content’s thumbnail, then choose “Pin to board.”
From the resulting pop-up window, select an existing board and section, then click “Pin”. The content will then appear in the chosen section of the board.
Pinning from a Look or dashboard
Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the content, then select “Pin to a board.”
From the resulting pop-up window, select an existing board and section, then click “Pin.” The content will then appear in the chosen section of the board.
