Viewing the Total Assortment dashboard

Centricity’s Overview dashboard is composed of several elements:

  1. Top navigation — The various elements of this section are outlined in the Viewing dashboards documentation page.

  2. Dashboard filters — Centricity filters allow users to limit the data displayed on the dashboard. See the Temporarily changing filter values and cross-filtering dashboards documentation page for details on using filters.

  3. Information panel — Briefly outlines tips for adding new filters and adding additional filter values to existing filters.

  4. Top Subcategories table

  5. Pulse Heatmap

The Top Subcategories table displays Pulse data for top Subcategories (under whichever parent Categories the dashboard has been filtered to), based on three different metrics: Pulse, Pulse Shift, and Pulse Shift Percent.

You can click a column header to sort data by that column in ascending or descending order. To learn more about each column’s metric, hover over the column header or read in more detail on Centricity Academy’s Defining Centricity’s data fields documentation page.

The Pulse Heatmap displays geolocated Pulse data measured during the selected time period, aggregated to the County level.

Use the + and - buttons within a heatmap tile to zoom in and out. You can also click on any county to filter the entire dashboard by that county. See the Temporarily changing filter values and cross-filtering dashboards documentation page for more details on filtering dashboards.

  6. Pulse Data Tables

The Pulse Data Tables display data similarly to the Top Subcategories table, featuring three sortable columns of Pulse data at the Subset, Facet, or County level. The Top Subsets and Top Facets tables feature columns for Pulse, Pulse Shift, and Pulse Shift Percent. The Top Counties table features columns for Pulse, Pulse Shift Percent, and Pulse Per Capita.

You can click a column header to sort data by that column in ascending or descending order. To learn more about each column’s metric, hover over the column header or read in more detail on Centricity Academy’s Defining Centricity’s data fields documentation page.
