Adding new categories
To add insights to your organization’s Centricity account, navigate to the Subscription management page. On the right side of the Active subscription panel, click Add new category.
The ‘Add new category’ page will open, displaying the Centricity hierarchy in the right-hand panel. Scroll through the hierarchy to review available insights, or enter your desired content in the search bar. Check the box next to your desired content at the Department, Category, or Subcategory level.
Click the carat icon to view an expanded list of a line item. Departments expand to display all associated Categories; Categories expand to display all associated Subcategories.
Note: Content will be added on a top-down basis, meaning that by adding a Department, Centricity will also include all associated Categories and Subcategories; when adding a Category, Centricity will also include all associated Subcategories.
All selections will be listed in the Selected categories panel. After reviewing your selections, click Save. You’ll be prompted with a pop-up confirmation window. Click Add to confirm or Cancel to go back to edit or review your request.
Your administrator will be notified of your request. While your request is under review, it will appear in the Pending Requests panel, visible to all Centricity users in your organization. Once an administrator approves an insight request, the Centricity Support Team will get in touch within 24 hours to determine the timeline for these categories becoming available in your insight portfolio.
All available categories in your organization’s insight portfolio will appear in the Active subscription panel.
To remove insights to your organization’s Centricity account, navigate to the Subscription management page. On the right side of the Active subscription panel, click Remove category.
A trash icon will appear to the right of each category included in the Active subscription panel. Click the trash icon for any categories you’d like to remove. You’ll be prompted with a pop-up confirmation window. Click Remove to confirm or Cancel to go back.
The Centricity Support Team will get in touch within 24 hours to determine the timeline for removing these categories from your insight portfolio.
